Hey! First snow of 2021! Last night we received our first snowfall of the year. I know it’s no big deal for some places, but here in the Southwest we don’t get snow that often like places further North. I think this snow we received is the edge of the winter storms that are currently sweeping though the top half of the country; through the plains states and northeastern states. Those states are predicted to receive significant snow, like 6-8 inches or more around the Great Lake region, for example.

Light snow.

Here, we only received approximately 1/2 inch. That is a dry, pebbly snow, sort of like miniature snowballs, but too small to throw at anyone. :)

Looking Southeast.

It will most likely not stay long after the sun comes out as the ground is a bit warm for longevity. Our trailer seems to be a better surface as it is elevated and therefore a bit colder than the ground.

Covered in snow.

We have to clean it off as we hope to load it with things for an upcoming trip we intend to take. Anyway, a few more snow pictures for your enjoyment.

Not sticking well.

Looking Southwest.

We thank God for the moisture, as every little bit helps! God Bless you and yours! Stay safe, have a great day, and drive safely!
