Moringa Update - 1 Oct
The Moringa oleifera sprouts are doing great! I am watering them every other day now that they have grown a bit.
Sixteen seeds were planted as a test bed (no pun intended) to see if they would grow at all. Plus two others were planted in different soils as a test. All but four have sprouted and are growing well. The seed planted is blow sand is shown below. It seems to dry out a bit faster than the ones in potting soil, but that’s to be expected.
The other seeds planted in normal potting soil have sprouted with over 75% success rate. Three have not sprouted and are presumed to be a failure.
The other seed planted in half sand/half potting soil is also a failure. This most likely has nothing to do with the soil mix, as the one in sand (shown earlier) is growing.
