Moringas in a Hurry!
Wow! Moringa Olifera sprouts are in a hurry to burst into the world! Only ten days after planting the seeds they have already sprouted, and some are already almost an inch high. As of this day, 21 of the 40 planted have sprouted. That’s great!
During the experiment late last year where I planted some seeds which grew not quite as quick as these, I had to replant them in quart pots. This time I will do the same, but will need a LOT more pots, as I only had a few that time. As we intend to grow as many as we can, we will have to acquire not only the quart size, but also perhaps some gallon sizes. Maybe, if we intend to keep some in pots all year, we will get some 5-gallon sizes, just in case we want to keep some inside during the following winter.
This is representative of the sprouted ones. Just beautiful the way they grow and the intricate detail and complexity. We can see God’s hand all around us in things like that, no accident here! As it says in Genesis 2:29 “… and every tree, in the which is the fruit of a tree yielding seed, to you it shall be for meat.”

Here you can see the before and after photos of the plant pots. Amazing how soon these have sprouted. It means it is time to get on the ball and prepare the garden for planting. Earlier we had replaced the fence with a four-foot high welded-wire fence to prevent the dogs from jumping over and digging in the moist soil. So now it is time to till the ground and add fertilizer.
Not only the Moringa sprouts, but the Iris planted in another patch are also doing well and are very beautiful.
They too seem to wish to spring into Spring as soon as possible!
I hope you have enjoyed this little progress update. Keep tuned for more in the future as things continue to grow! God Bless and keep safe!
