Moringa Trees

Here we are at day 20 since planting the Moringa Oleifera seeds on the First Day of Spring (March 20). They are growing at a phenomenal rate in the greenhouse. The weather has been mild with 50+ degrees F at night and the mid- to-upper 70 during the day.

As the two images above show, all but thirteen have sprouted. That is a ratio of about 32 percent, lower than I would hope, and not as good as the fall experiment, if I remember correctly. I think the percentage there was around 68 percent sprouted.

Lots of Leaves

These shoots are about 3 inches high now and are the tallest for now. They are really growing fast!

All The Babies!

This overhead shot gives a good indication of the ones that have sprouted and the ones still hiding. I am in hopes the slow ones will still sprout sooner or later. This image I will use as my marker to see which ones do better. The images below are not Moringa trees, but are starting off well, so I thought I would show them for your enjoyment.

Bee Balm? or Clover?

Lots of Little Sprouts. Sugarcane?

Big Yawn, Sleepyhead

Sneaky Snake

This one seems to be waiting to snap up a morsel that gets too close. Reminds me of a Venus Flytrap. Have a Great Day in the Lord Jesus Christ and may God Bless you and your family.
