In The Ground At Last
Finally we have planted some of the Moringa Oleifera sprouts in the ground. We have been waiting until they have grown a bit taller so the birds are not so attracted to them.
Another reason is they seem to not be doing well in the greenhouse, so we thought to see what would happen when they had the benefit of full sun. Hopefully, Lord Willing, the sunny days and occasional sprinkles we have had the past two days will perk them up a bit.
Also, the rather bare stalks should not be so enticing to the birds, as when they were covered with little delicate, tasty-looking leaves.
So, in a few days we should see if our surmises are correct and they start to brighten up a bit and start some new foliage. We planted nine of the total sprouts, so if some don’t survive, we will plant more to replace them. Also, if they do well, we will plant more anyway.
May God Bless this effort and may He also Bless you and your family during this pandemic we are currently experiencing. Stay safe and never forget to wear your masks, and gloves if you have them. If not remember to wash your hands with alcohol or hand sanitizer whenever you touch things out in public. And please try to not touch your face before sanitizing your hands. Until next time…
