August Update 2020

Here we are finally, with a short update of the Moringa Tree Adventure. After planting nine of the sprouts in the garden, we are now down to three. These seem to be the hardiest of the bunch, and we hope they will continue to grow.

For whatever reason, each of the others did well for a while, then for no discernible reason, were found laid over when the stalk at the ground weakened. Some we propped up, but most eventually died anyway. Of the three surviving, this one below is the only one that recovered from a weakened stalk and continues to grow.

We still don’t know what may have caused the others to lay over. Perhaps those received too much or too little water. The investigation is incomplete.
